The Orange Marine VHF radios are essential equipment

Several types of Orange Marine VHF radios are available,

A fixed VHF radio has a range of up to
50 nautical miles (92 km) depending on
its power and antenna height.
A handheld VHF radio has a theoretical range
of up to 9 nautical miles (16 km).
