ARTEX
ELT Emergency Locator Transmitter
Technicals Manuals
ARTEX provides the next evolution of ELT Distress Tracking
technology, providing both in-flight tracking and post-flight
localization in a single crash-resistant unit. Through
integration of aircraft NAV data, latitude/longitude is
automatically transmitted every 50 seconds for 24 hours
on the 406 MHz distress frequency, allowing emergency
services to accurately locate the aircraft within minutes
of beacon activation. eg. The ARTEX ELT 3000 is designed
to reduce the size and weight of the ELT system,
to simplify installation, the ARTEX ELT 3000 uses
a single RF output that connects to a tri-band antenna,
reducing installation to a single coaxial cable.
